In the end of last week Västra Götaland and Østfold had a youth exchange.12 students from Østfold took part in the exchange together with students from Tranemo, Ulricehamn and Karlsborg.

To get the chance to go to Türi was very exciting.....

I think the whole trip to Türi was a success!

Representatives of Ulricehamns municipality and the young people involved in the PIPE project have together worked on their future charter.

Many of the Swedish PIPE youths have had a great opportunity to participate in different youth exchanges in several countries. In the end of September it was Swedes' turn to host Estonian and Finnish youths.

One more Future workshop has been held in Västra Götaland.

At the end of March six Swedish youths together with their teacher and a PIPE co-ordinator were visiting Järva County in Estonia. Most of the time the youths were gathered in Türi that is the second largest town in Järva County

On April 3rd a future workshop was held in Tranemo with a good representation from both the student and teacher side and from politicians and administrators.

Next week youths from Västra Götaland is visiting Järva. They will be in Türi, but also visit Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.You can read the program here.

The sun and the light have waked the PIPE project in Västra Götaland! There are many interesting activities taking place during the spring and there are more and more youths that would like to be involved in the project.

The project is in good progress. We will publish more info later.

The Region is strategically situated along the axis Oslo - Göteborg - Copenhagen. The earlier counties of Göteborgs and Bohus, Älvsborg and Skaraborg formed the region as an administrative region in 1999.

During three days students from Västra Götaland in Sweden were doing field work in Mysen, Askim and Spydeberg together with students from the local PIPE classes. The successfull youth exchange was valued as very positive for future contact between the schools and the participants.
