Yesterday was very warm day in Rovaniemi. We had been crossed our fingers during the whole week that on Thursday it would be sunny. This wish came true. Huge amount of people came to the park opening. There were children with theire parents, elderly people and of course youngsters. This park is really for three generations.

At the opening our city's gardener Mirja Vääräniemi kept a little speach. She spoke about the history of the Old market place and also told how this whole Twinpark got its idea. Children were playing all the time at the equipments, but that did not bother at all when Mirja was speaking. Then it was time to cut the band. We had chosen a child, adult and youngster to open the park. And after that it was time to play!

We hope that this park will become very used place to hang around. Thank you for all the people who were in the process!
