VÄSTRA GÖTALAND
The Region is strategically situated along the axis Oslo - Göteborg - Copenhagen. The earlier counties of Göteborgs and Bohus, Älvsborg and Skaraborg formed the region as an administrative region in 1999.

TELEMARK
Telemark is situated in the centre of Southern Norway. The region has
163.152 inhabitants dispersed over 18 municipalities. 72% of the population are
situated in urban areas. Telemark has 3 cities.

ROVANIEMI
Rovaniemi, an international, developing town of business, administration and education, is located at the confluence of Lapland's mighty rivers Kemijoki and Ounasjoki. As the capital of the province, Rovaniemi has always been a gateway to Lapland.

Rapla / Järva
Rapla and Järva Counties both have a share in the heart of Estonia. Neither of the counties have a sea border.As for the size Rapla is an average Estonian county with 2,980 km2. The county consists of 14 rural communes. The centre of the county is the town of Rapla (6,320 residents). Rapla is one of the smallest county centres in Estonia.

CESIS
Cesis lies 90 km northeast of Riga; the capital of Latvia, and is the third largest region in Latvia. Cesis has 25 municipalities; two of them are towns.

FINNMARK
Finnmark is the northernmost and easternmost, as well as the largest region of Norway. It borders on both Finland and Russia. Approximately 76.442 inhabitants live in 19 different municipalities, and the acreage is 48.637 km2. Finnmark is therefore the sparsely populated region in Norway.

ALYTUS
Alytus is the largest town in Southern Lithuania, and is the economic, administrative, cultural and educational centre of the region. The town is situated in a valley and built on the banks of the beautiful river, Nemunas.

ØSTFOLD
Østfold is a region in Norway, south for Oslo, near the Swedish border. Approximately 250.000 inhabitants live in 18 different municipalities. The acreage is 4 200 km2. The population is increasing every year, mainly because of immigration from Oslo.

MURMANSK
Murmansk oblast is situated on the Kola Peninsula, lies above the Polar Circle and covers the territory of 144.900 sq km. It is one of the largest and most economically developed regions of North Russia.
